They are generally used for internal use, e.g. they are interposed between two fabrics. The variety of double side adhesive product is remarkable, we can have different mechanical and physical properties (breathability, colour, recovering).

The different structures and the variety of thicknesses also allow anything from simple joining and reinforcement to thermowelding onto elastic fabrics.
